First couple days offshore and I can say that I am eating less than I usually do. A few cookies after supper, but still a lot less food than usual. I will work on lowering my cookie intake if possible? (damn you macadamia’s. damn you).
I haven’t managed to walk up to the workout room yet. I really need to find some motivation for that. I am really worn out after a day of work out here. Up and down 3 flights of stairs 20 times a day can be exhausting. I make sure I push myself up the stairs though. I usually try to skip every other step so I get a good butt and thigh workout (it burns so good)

Free chopper ride this morning. Flying out into the Gulf to start my 7 days of walking up and down stairs. I’m talking about lots of stairs.
My usual week involves eating a lot of food till I am stuffed for every meal. Eating desert and cookies with every meal. And I still usually lose a pound or two while I am out there. I am thankful or those stairs sometimes. Imagine what I could do if I ate less….
That’s what I will try to accomplish this hitch. The food is just so amazing though. It is not easy. Imagine the best Cajun food ever, laid out like buffet every day. On top of that, three or four pies or cakes made fresh everyday.
Workout equipment includes 2 bowflex treadmills, bowflex selectable dumbbell set, bowflex bicycle, and a bowflex flex weight workout machine. I have been here a few months and only saw this equipment once. Lol. I am usually really worn out by the end of the day but I am gonna really try to get in there this week. Here we go. 90 minute bird ride. Later guys.

I have made up my mind to come back to tumblr and get back into shape. I seem to have lost touch with the weightloss community here and most of the people I followed aren’t here anymore.
Can y’all suggest some good blogs to follow? I’m looking for some inspiring bloggers to help me. I guess a few reblogs would help. I have 80-100 lbs to lose. Thanks guys.

I may or may not have gained 20 pounds since my last tumblr post. I still get on here every now and then to stalk my friends and see how they are doing. I am glad to see some doing great. I am a little upset but mostly relieved that others are still struggling like me and have had times where they have taken a break or given up. I hope I can jump on the wagon again. One goal that I am still holding onto; I have not had a coke or diet soda since January. Nothing but water, tea, and juices. I hope I can build up some motivation…

I am ok. That happens a few hundred miles south of us by Mexico. I am still trying to adjust to life out here. Currently weighing in at 315. I am hoping to get settled in and start back up on a healthy life style. Thanks to you and @cajundre for checking up on me all the time.

Working on an offshore oil platform is hard work, walking tons and tons of stairs, and beautiful sunsets. At least I am getting exercise…I need it because the food is awesome.

I planted some Tarahumara dent corn a few months ago. I let it dry on the stalk. Then I picked it, ground up the kernels, and made cornbread with the corn meal. Best corn bread ever. Next I will try to make tortillas, if I can find some cal.
